Sun Tigers were once prized pets by wealthy noblemen. Many were also killed for their fur, teeth, and horns, which were thought to contain magical properties. They were so highly sought after that only captive Sun Tigers remained after the golden age of kings and queens. Very few are kept in protected captivity while the rest are smuggled and sold in black markets to the rich elite who wish to have a rare, exotic companion.
